"I create painted, wooden wall sculptures, sometimes very brightly colored, and when I hang them on the walls of my house, the beauty of Julian Reyes’ furniture compliments my humble efforts" Valery Sutherland Summer 2009 Valery's art education was obtained in England. The first two years were spent at Tunbridge Wells Art School. She then studied for three years with David Cashman, a professor at Saint Martin's Art School, London. She also briefly attended classes at St. Martin's. Over the years she has exhibited her work in various galleries in the United States.
